What: 2025 Farm Membership - invest in the farm early and receive a farm credit on a physical Membership Card that you can swipe at our Farm Stand checkout when stocking up on your weekly veggies/flowers.

How much? We are offering two levels of Membership, $500 or $300. An additional 10% credit will automatically be added to your card for supporting us early in the season!
Welcome to the 2025 growing season and the Mountain Roots Farm Membership. We are gearing up for another farming season and are ready to grow delicious, nourishing and beautiful produce to feed our family, friends and this wonderful community.
We switched things up a couple years ago and now offer a new form of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), one that is more customizable and flexible. It’s called the Mountain Roots Farm Membership and is described in more detail below. This new model has been a success and we’re excited to offer it again this season!
Why have we chosen to discontinue our traditional Summer CSA Share? The years of intense drought pressure and grasshoppers kicked our butts, and it became pretty stressful trying to pull off a CSA in those conditions.
We would love to have you join us this season, whether it’s your first year as a Mountain Roots Member or your thirteenth (!!), and be a part of this meaningful partnership between the farmers and the members. This partnership is focused on building community, improving soil health, having a direct connection with your farmers, discovering (or rediscovering) the satisfaction of eating seasonally and, ultimately, stewarding this beautiful land so it's better place for future generations to come. Let’s do this!
What? This is our new form of CSA, (Community Supported Agriculture) and it is a beautiful partnership and shared commitment between the farmers, Mountain Roots Produce, and you, the consumer. Farm Members purchase their membership early in the year (Registration for 2025 opens on Tuesday, February 25th) to help the farm with the costs of seeds, equipment, repairs, supplies, labor, etc. that arise early in the season. And in return, the Farm Members receive a ‘Farm Membership Card’ with their membership amount + 10% additional credit added, to then spend at the following location June - October:
Our weekly Farm Stand in Spruce Park on Wednesdays in Telluride
We grow a large variety of produce and flowers and plan the growing season with our Farm Members in mind. The Farm Stand will be filled with different items each week and the contents will change throughout the season, normally lighter with many greens and tender roots in the Spring and becoming an incredible rainbow of produce later in the season as hot crops such as cucumbers, green beans, tomatoes, broccoli and so much more are ready to harvest.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Step One - Sign up to be a 2025 Farm Member and mail in your payment.
Step Two - We’ll mail out gift cards in early May.
Step Three - Shop! Once harvests start in June, we’ll be at our weekly Farm Stand in Telluride. Come and shop for your favorite produce and flowers. Then, at checkout you will just swipe your Farm Membership Card and be headed home with your bounty of produce/flowers to nourish you throughout the week. We are really excited about this, as it makes your 'share' more customizable than in the past. You will be able to stock up on the week's when you have friends/family in town or skip a week if you're on vacation.

Where: The farm is located in Mancos, Colorado and Telluride Farm Stand will take place as follows:
Spruce Park Farm Stand - (TELLURIDE, June-October) - This Farm Stand has really come to life the last couple seasons and we're excited to expand and grow on that energy again this year! We set up our Farm Stand in Spruce Park (next to The Butcher and The Baker) on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our first Farm Stand is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th and we hope to run through mid-October this season (weather dependent).
We’re focusing most of our energy/production on the Farm Stands this season. The current snowpack situation is looking rough, so we’re scaling our production plan back as we know our irrigation water may be tight this season. Still hoping for a wet spring - fingers crossed!
Please note - the farm stand is open to the public (you do not need a Farm Membership to shop) and will be first come first serve.
Farm Membership Cards will only be valid in person at our Farm Stands described above . These cards do not sync up with our website, and will not be usable for any of our online sales.
When: Farm Membership Registration opens on Tuesday, February 24th. We are planning, seeding and planting for the first Farm Stands in early June. **Please note the start date may change by a week in either direction if Mother Nature throws us some surprises. We will be in touch with Farm Members and communicate any changes.
Price: We are offering two levels of Farm Membership this season, please note a 10% additional credit will be added to your card automatically as a thank you for investing in the farm early in the season!
$500 Membership (with a $50 credit added) = total Farm Membership Card worth $550
$300 Membership (with a $30 credit added) = total Farm Membership Card worth $330

We’re go old school on Farm Membership Sign-ups and all payments need to be made by check or cash, this helps us avoid some of the payment processing fees. Thank you for understanding!
